Sarah Morton, LMSW
Sarah joined Still Waters in January 2026, she is a Licensed Master Social Worker. She earned her bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management from Jacksonville State University and holds a Masters in Social Work from Liberty University.

Sarah completed her graduate internships with Hall County Treatment Services and ARC Counseling Group, where she gained clinical experience working with individuals facing a wide range of mental health and life challenges. In addition, she and her husband served as house parents at a youth residential treatment center, providing care and support to children and families during times of crisis. 

Sarah spent two years working in child advocacy, specializing in cases involving child sexual abuse victims within the Hall and Dawson County judicial circuit. This work strengthened her passion for trauma-informed care and advocacy for vulnerable populations. 

Sarah works with individuals, couples, and families navigating concerns such as depression, anxiety, parenting challenges, grief, trauma, loss and family-related issues. She utilizes a family systems approach and is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Attachment-Based Therapy.

Sarah is a Christian, her faith plays a central role in her life and professional work. She believes God has continually guided her towards helping others and considers it a privilege to serve clients through both clinical excellence and compassionate care. She feels deeply called to walk alongside others on their journey towards healing and restoration.

Sarah practices under the clinical supervision of Laura Lasseter, LCSW.
